Driver Profile
My name is Marty Hawkins. I was born on December 24th, 1992 in Santa Rosa, Ca. I have been around dirt track racing as long as I can remember. My Grandfather, George Hawkins was in charge of the track preparations for 13 years at the Calistoga Speedway when Louie Vermeil was the president of the Northern Auto Racing Club

(NARC). My father and his cousin both raced winged and non-winged sprint cars all over Northern California. I began racing Outlaw Karts when I was seven, and dreamed of the day I would drive a sprint car. That day came thanks to a generous gift from a long time family friend in Calistoga. I have since taken that sprint car team and learned to work on every corner of that car myself. I have also been blessed with some great sponsors that have helped us acquire a second motor and chassis. They have helped us get to the track and compete in many events over the past couple of years. During that time I graduated from high school with a 3.8 GPA and attended the Santa Rosa JC (while still in high school). I am graduating from the JC soon and will be heading to college in Southern California. I would like to race in the Southern California area and am currently seeking a small shop space to house the race car and hauler. My sponsors have helped me get this far and I am looking to be even more competitive every time I hit the track. It’s hard to find people who are willing to help, especially people who understand the racing world. I would love to sit down and talk about how you could help me continue my dream of auto racing.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely
Marty Hawkins
